One of the things I love about my job is that I often get to travel to places I might not otherwise get to discover. When Sam and Jeremy asked me to document their small destination wedding in Mallorca, I had this preconceived notion in my head that the island would be your typical Mediterranean beach destination, filled with resorts and cruise ships. And while that does exist there, Mallorca has so much more to offer. I spent a great deal of my time driving around the Serra de Tramunatana mountain range, which was so spectacularly beautiful and unlike anything I had ever seen before. The historic villages were beyond charming, and the nearby town of Deia was the perfect place to explore during their portrait session. It didn’t take me long to understand why Sam and Jeremy choose to have their wedding nestled among olive trees at Ca’s Xorc, where the golden hour light was so dreamy it could easily rival California. Thanks so much, S + J, for sharing this wonderful place with me and planning the perfect wedding to reflect your love of travel. It was honestly one of the highlights of my summer.
