“Jenn was the single best decision we made in planning our wedding. She made every second of our time together better and managed to capture the in-between and spirit of it all amazingly. On presence - Simply put, Jenn's energy is magnetic. She is simultaneously light-hearted and extremely on it with timing and logistics, joyful, and able to blend into the background. She made my husband and I feel comfortable at every turn and was a master at dealing with all flavors of our family's personality types. She makes people feel at ease, festive and happy. If I could I would really just love to have Jenn at every big moment of my life for the rest of time.

On eye - I am admittedly an extremely harsh critic when it comes to photography, especially given the fact that my love of the medium is purely amateur. Jenn is an artist. She sees what most miss, and is able to capture the energy of a moment in the most unexpected of compositions. She manages to make the mundane magic.

On range - Not only is Jenn an artist, she is also extremely collaborative and efficient at getting the 'must have' classic shots that most families want from a wedding weekend. She manages to make even the portrait shot list fun and was an absolute joy to collaborate with on a range of out-there ideas we wanted to try (polaroids, overlay composition, you name it).

I could continue writing forever, but what I really want to get across is that if you are even remotely considering hiring Jenn for your wedding, do it and thank me later!”

“We are photography nerds. We wanted a talented photographer, not just someone to take wedding photos. We didn’t want run-of-the-mill, overly posed, ‘hold hands with your wedding party and jump in the air’ stuff. We wanted someone skilled and adventurous. We wanted Jenn.

Lucky for us, we had the opportunity to work with her on two occasions. The first time was our wedding in Los Angeles. The pictures were always the most important investment we planned to make in our wedding, and we were floored when we got the gallery back. Her photos were artistic and beautiful, while still being totally fun and candid. They captured our family and friends laughing and crying and dancing their hearts out. Her pictures tell a story and have become a souvenir of one of the best days of our lives. Lucky for us, working with Jenn did not stop there.

Half of our family is from France and the majority could not come to California for our wedding, so we had a second celebration in Provence the following year. When we planned the second wedding, everyone had one question — ‘What about Jenn?’ Her pictures left an imprint on everyone, even those who couldn’t make it to California. My husband’s family is quite expansive, and every summer they get together at the family’s 100+ year-old fig orchard in Provence, which is where we decided to have the celebration. When Jenn agreed to come to France and shoot Wedding #2, we were thrilled.

It was more than just the party. We wanted her to document my husband’s family, their history, and their tradition of meeting every August to reconnect, relax, and spend time together. It was an important story to capture — not of a wedding, but of a family. The pictures would be keepsakes for generations. Of course, Jenn did not disappoint. Memories of cooking together, hanging by the pool, dancing, laughing, having dinner late into the night — regular activities that have happened there in Provence every summer for years — were finally captured in photographs. My husband’s grandfather described the pictures as ‘works of art,’ and they have become talking pieces in everyone’s homes.

In addition to being a kickass photographer, Jenn is incredibly easy to work with. She is very communicative and planning with her is a breeze. If the pictures weren’t enough, everyone in the family loves Jenn and her great personality. We often joke about having a third wedding and getting Jenn to come back for more! We would work with her again in a heartbeat.”

Everything about our interaction with her over the course of a year was just so EASY. “Hiring Jenn was honestly the best decision I made when planning my wedding. I literally would not have survived my wedding had it not been for Jenn. While we all dream of a perfect wedding day, sometimes things go array. For me, it was my husband getting sick on our wedding day. Jenn was my guide in navigating one of the most challenging days of my life. When my husband was sick in bed while I was fully dressed and supposed to be doing the first look, Jenn showed her true expertise. She effortlessly, no big deal, pivoted to a super fun, sexy solo photoshoot and then brought in all my girlfriends to pump it up and make me feel loved and supported. It was great and I will always remember that moment.

Throughout the night she went above and beyond what I could have ever expected from a photographer. She helped me rethink the entire evening, acting as a second wedding planner. She made decisions when I could not. She was the friend and guide that I could never have imagined needing. I would not have made it through the night had it not been for Jenn. Not only that, Jenn is just an awesome person. Since we weren't able to take any pictures of me and my husband on our wedding day, Jenn suggested we get dressed the next day and take pictures around town. (We got married in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.) She showed up the next day and spent two hours with us getting all the pictures we couldn't get the day before. It was priceless and I cherish those pictures of us.

Now let's talk pictures and logistics. The pictures are hands down the most stunning pictures I could have ever asked for. No one would ever know that my husband had a fever of 103 by looking at the pictures. Everyone who sees our wedding pictures is blown away. They aren't overly staged. People don't look uncomfortable or posed. I love that we and our family/guests look like themselves, but sexier! Jenn captures laughter and movement like no one else. Jenn truly tells the story of your wedding through pictures. Logistically, she is quick to respond to emails and easy to communicate with.

Please, make the best decision you can for your wedding and hire Jenn. You won't regret it. We hope to have Jenn document all the important moments of our life. We truly were so lucky to have found her.”

“Something they don’t tell you about wedding photographers is that they do so much more than be behind a camera – they are a confidant, a coordinator, a therapist, an instigator, etc. I never thought these roles would fall under ‘photographer’ but Jenn wears all these hats with incomparable style and grace. If you’ve seen her portfolio, it’s clear she’s talented, experienced and creative, but what those images don’t necessarily communicate is the kind of person she is – caring, intentional, playful, relaxed and professional. A tall order, actually, since both of us are camera shy, but her compassion pulled us both out of our shells. I don’t know how else to say this but if you want to enjoy your wedding day with the people you love, Jenn will bring it and so much more and you’ll be so grateful she did.”
